Woodside 7th grade boys with Northeast Hoosier Middle School Championship

Published by SportsXpress On April 2, 2017 Leave a response

Woodside defeated Maple Creek 45-27 to win the 7th Grade Boys Northeast Hoosier Middle School Championship.  Coach Rob Harmon led the guys to a 21-1 record. They lost their first game of the season, to St. Vincent, then ran off 21 in a row to close the year. They hosted (and won) a tournament in December that included Blackhawk Christian, Angola, and Indian Springs. A number of the players on the team were also on the football team, which lost the conference championship to Maple Creek.
